Entering the Cattewater

It started to rain, the tide was high.

I leaned against the rail at Queen Anne Battery and watched a regular occurrence. Today, it was Hav Snapper turning into the Cattewater from the Sound.

The foreshortening of the first two images were deceptive. She is over 88 metres and lines up neatly with Mount Batten pier and the warships inside the Breakwater..

Yesterday I saw her offloading at the Cattewater Wharves. As I write, she is headed towards Dieppe.
