I took this photo and the featured photo at the top of the post yesterday, in the wind. The zoom function has brought the background buildings forward – (as in the two images of Blue Mistress in yesterday’s post).  I like the way the horizontal lines of the buildings tie the vertical lines of the masts with the tower behind. And the boats straining at their moorings are lively and excited while the buildings are solid and static.
